Think you saw all that Hvar has to offer?! Came in with a catamaran or speedboat transfer, visited important historical places, had a cocktail at Palmižana – Pakleni islands, dinner in one of Hvar’s many great restaurants, visited Vis & Blue cave.. Check list completed. You can move to the next destination. Or. Check again.. And book that extra night (or take the late afternoon catamaran). Stay. Because you do not want to miss our Hvar Island tour and Olive oil tasting.
Our best guide will show you Hvar from a different perspective - inland. As an island full of spectacular views that stretch over lavender fields all the way to Pakleni islands, Vis, Korčula, Brač and Šolta… And that awaits just 5 km from Hvar.
Once you are picked up at your hotel/accommodation we will start our drive by taking the “old road”, how locals call it. We will pass through old villages Brusje and Velo Grablje and through famous lavender fields. Stop, breathe the aromatized air, enjoy the view.
Driving further towards Jelsa where we are going, visit the best local wine and olive oil producer on the island. You will be able to enjoy his own produced macerated olive oils in an intimate candle lit wine cellar. Perfect to take a break from the sun. Try basil or sage flavored olive oil and let your taste buds convince you that it was worth to extend that stay.
It is time for “Little Venice”- Vrboska, a small fisherman village which is popular by that name due to its canal and small bridges that connect the two parts. This picturesque little town will leave you breathless. Leaving Vrboska we will drive through UNESCO protected plain, Ager (Hora). This field is the best preserved Greek cadastre in the Mediterranean. Driving back towards Hvar, we have one more surprise for you. We will take you for a walk in a small village Malo Grablje. An ancient village founded in the 16th century and abandoned many decades ago.
Perfect end to your vacation in paradise. A tour that left you feeling great and relaxed and so pleased you saw more - true essence of Hvar and Mediterranean.
