Our half-day tour will take you on a journey through centuries of vineyards of Hvar, with your expert local guide bringing the vines to life with the rich history of the Hvar wine story. This sublime half-day program visits the most outstanding wineries on the island. Just a short 25 minute drive from Hvar Town and we’re in wine country! After a tour of the Hvar vineyards, cellars and production facilities, you’ll be invited to participate in a wine tasting paired with local food delicacies.

Wonderful experience

The wineries were both unique and great! Our driver was also lovely and told us about the lavender and olive and grape areas we drove through. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Interesting small wineries

Enjoyable few hours taking in a couple of local family run wineries on Hvar. Great to taste some local organic wines at the working winery. Would never have found these places without the tour. Driver/guide was great with commentary on the way out explaining the history and agri-economy of the area. A nice experience getting to see/meet local producers and well worth doing.

Take the wine tour

Enjoyed the 2 wineries and history of the lavender fields to vineyards by our driver. The first winery offered a better explanation of the wines we were drinking and we did buy wine. Orange wine was new to us - definitely worth trying.

Disappointing wines

Great to see the islands and meet local people. Enjoyed hearing about history. Light snacks were enjoyable however the wine was disappointing.
