Maybe we had expected some more information about processing the wine, but satisfactually tasting. Guide Ursa gave us an interesting and respectful historic and cultural experience.
Ursula was great and was on top of communication with us..Our plans to dock in Jelso got nixed and no problem, she picked us up in Vrvoska and brought us to wine tasting very nearby..She shuttled us to dinner in Hvar and back to Vrvoska that evening. She had plenty of history to spare and her English is perfect. She shared a lot of local information and steered us in the right direction for the next day’s bike rental journey. We arrived later than planned and I wish we could have spent more time with her. It’s a beautiful island and her insight gave us an appreciation of Croatian island living.

Our wine tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable not only about the local wineries but also about the history of the area. She took us to a local family winery then gave us a brief tour of the surrounding areas in long Napoleons Lookout. This afforded us some beautiful views of Hvar! Great host.
